Infant CFT Session

I am trained in infant CFT (craniosacral fascial therapy) through the Gillespie Approach.

This gentle treatment modality helps to release fascial strain patterns that could be caused by intrauterine restrictions, complicated or prolonged birth, birth trauma, exasperation by tethered oral tissues (tongue tie), among other things.

The tongue is connected via the fascial web throughout the enitre body, all the way to the tips of the toes. When babies are tight in their mouths and working through oral dysfunction, fascial strain is usually seen throughout the body. CFT is very beneficial to help loosen the tension in the floor of the mouth and the body so the provider can get a better, more complete release, and it also helps post-release to ensure proper healing and to prevent tight regrowth and restriction of the frenum.
