Virtual Lactation Consultation

Virtual Consults: Include everything that I do in person (minus the actual hands-on help) unlimited text/email support as needed. I am able to answer all your questions, assess latch and feeding, help with positioning and latching, and assist with any challenges that need specific care plans. I am able to do tongue tie assessments virtually as I teach you how to capture pictures and videos to help me assess, I will ask appropriate questions, and take a full feeding history and assessment. If you are not local, I will refer you for the proper in person care as needed if tongue/lip ties is suspected within your area. You will feel supported and cared for, and we will work together to get breastfeeding and/or pumping, or bottle feeding back on track.

Initial Consult: includes a review of health history, pregnancy, and delivery history, breastfeeding/bottle feeding history, complete head-to-toe assessment of baby, latch and feeding assessment, weighted feeding, oral functional exam, breast exam if applicable, breast pump instruction, flange, fitting, addressing feeding difficulties and formulating an individualized written care plan to help you reach your goals, unlimited text, and email support as needed 

Lactation consultation via telehealth will run through my secure and HIPAA compliant platform.
